Kirpputori

Finnish people are really inventive. Today I would like to write about places that are called Kirpputori (shortly Kirppis). In translation might be a flea market. However, in this country well-advised and much more practical than flea markets in Czech Republic.

All you need is..

In practice you rent a table in one of these places (for example for 25euro a week) and put there anything you need to sell - labeled with name, price and number of your table.


When something is sold, the label is put aside. When you come to check and clean your table, you will get all your money and the labels (to check what has been sold). At the end of the rental period you go there take the money and take the stuff that has not been sold (or prolong the rent of the table and put there more) - it is all in your responsibility (the price, the things there...).

The owner of the Kirppis takes care of the place itself, not of your tables.
In this process you earn the money by selling your stuff and owner of the Kirppis is earning money from lease of the tables.

Getting wild

You would not believe what is possible to find there. People sell there almost everything. I saw there a lot of different clothes (even a wedding dress :-) ), shoes, books, cosmetics, jewelry, as well as an old furniture, children toys, bikes or different tools... Imagination has no limits.

Yesterday I was telling about it to my father and he said (meant in a joke) that when I get there tp collect my money and rest of the things, there will be nothing, even the owner... and that made me think. Would it really work in the Czech Republic? This kind of business is strongly depended on the trust in between customer and a vendor... and that is not very ordinary in these days... which is quite pity. Kirppis is a nice place.

Říkám si, že ve Finsku jsou opravdu vynalézaví lidé. 

Tentokrát bych ráda něco napsala o místě, které se jmenuje Kirpputori (zkráceně Kirppis). 

V překladu by to mohla být obdoba našich "bleších trhů". Nicméně finská verze je o něco propracovanější a praktičtější, než klasický bleší trh, jak ho znám z České republiky.

V praxi to funguje tak, že si tam na nějakou dobu předplatíte / pronajmete stůl (např. za 25euro na 1 týden) a na ten vyskládáte, co byste si přáli prodat. Všechno označíte jménem, cenovkou a  číslem Vašeho stolu.

Člověk, který ma Kirppis na starosti (prodává) pak odkládá na jednotlivé hromádky lístky z prodaných věcí, a když si tam po týdnu příjdete vyzvednout peníze, dá vám určenou sumu a lístky z prodaných věcí. Zároveň si odnesete věci, které nebyly prodány (případně prodloužíte pronájem stolku, přídáte věci, snížíte částky u toho, co se neprodalo...). Všechno je ve vaší kompetenci (obsah stolu, ceny jednotlivých věcí...). Majitel se stará jen o místo samotné, nikoli o jednotlivé stoly. Takto vy prodáte, co potřebujete a majitel kirppis vydělá z peněz, za které si pronajmete stůl.

 Nevěřili byste, jaké tam najdete věci. Lidé tam prodávají vážně všechno. Od oblečení (dokonce jsem tam našla i svatební šaty), přes boty, knihy, kosmetiku a šperky až po starý nábytek, jízdní kola či nářadí... 

Fantazii se meze nekladou.

Když jsem to včera vyprávěla rodičům, táta v žertu řekl, že když tam pak po týdnu příjdu pro peníze, nic od obchodníka nedostanu a věci budou fuč...

Tak si říkám, jestli by to fungovalo i v Čechách... Je to tak trochu založené na důvěře mezi prodejcem a nakupujícím a ta málokde opravdu funguje... a to je veliká škoda. Kirppis je vážně fajn místo. 

Je možné zařídit si tam celý byt. :-)
